"Eternal Liberty: The 1794 Flowing Hair Cent" is a masterful tribute to one of America's most revered numismatic icons. This intricate drawing distills the essence of the 1794 Flowing Hair Large Cent, a coin that embodies the spirit of freedom and independence that defined early America.

With meticulous attention to detail, Robert brings to life the delicate features of this rare coin, from the flowing locks of Liberty to the intricate wreath on the reverse. Each line and curve reflects the artist's profound respect for the craftsmanship and artistry that shaped America's early coinage.

As the artist notes, "Capturing the subtle nuances of this coin's red-brown patina was a unique challenge for me. As my first attempt at drawing a copper coin with this type of patina, I had to carefully observe and render the intricate play of color and texture. It was a rewarding experience to push my artistic boundaries and bring this beautiful coin to life in a new way."

These signed and numbered limited-edition prints are part of a series of numismatic artworks created by Robert Julian. Each print is carefully crafted to capture the essence of these historic coins. About polished aluminum Prints

Our polished aluminum prints are crafted using an innovative process that infuses dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image becomes part of the surface, rather than sitting on top of it, the result is an almost magical luminescence.

Built to last, the ultra-hard, scratch-resistant surface is both waterproof and weatherproof, allowing for effortless cleaning and care. While these prints thrive in well-lit spaces, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight—just as you would with any fine art piece.
