"Legacy of Lincoln: The 1909-S VDB Cent" is a poignant depiction of one of the most coveted coins in American numismatic history. This artwork captures the essence and historical significance of the 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent, a coin that marks the beginning of the Lincoln cent series and the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth.

As the artist, I have a special affinity for this drawing, as it represents one of my earliest endeavors in capturing the nuances of numismatic art. The obverse, featuring Lincoln's portrait, showcases a more artistic and expressive approach, with bold strokes and subtle texture. In contrast, the reverse, with its intricate details and delicate lines, demonstrates a more refined and realistic technique – a testament to my growth and evolution as an artist.

This drawing holds a unique place in my heart, as it embodies the early stages of my artistic journey. While I've considered revisiting the obverse to bring it in line with my current style, I've chosen to leave it as is, embracing the charm and character that comes with it.

    About polished aluminum Prints

Our polished aluminum prints are crafted using an innovative process that infuses dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image becomes part of the surface, rather than sitting on top of it, the result is an almost magical luminescence.

Built to last, the ultra-hard, scratch-resistant surface is both waterproof and weatherproof, allowing for effortless cleaning and care. While these prints thrive in well-lit spaces, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight—just as you would with any fine art piece.
